Our Story

We are a husband-and-wife located in Pearland, TX who accidentally stumbled upon the business of producing and offering homemade salsa. During the 2020 pandemic we started a small garden in our backyard which thrived with the proper love and nurturing. With an abundance of peppers and having absolutely no idea what to do with them, we decided to prepare ourselves some homemade salsa. A few Instagram followers showed interest and inquired about purchasing a jar. We anxiously sent out our product and were stunned with the positive feedback we received. From that curiosity and a little convincing, Renee’s Chilayy was born and has since been a successful hit at any family gathering. During the summer months we prepare our salsa using peppers straight from our backyard garden, and when we are unable to harvest peppers, we shop for only the highest quality produce.
